This week’s MUSE is Anita Bowden of Neet and Crafty. I just adore her crisp and clean style. Something I aspire to, but I definitely have a tendency to add just a smidge too much of something… The layout she used, the pops of pink and the polka dots were my inspiration.
My card is such a mash-up of stash hoardings! The coffee cup is retired SU, colored with copics. The heart you sticker is from the ‘specials’ bin at the Warehouse. The stripy paper is WRMK Inked Rose. I used an SU circle die to cut the white top layer, then ‘stitched’ it with a copic multiliner. The wee heart is from Mama Elephant’s Three Amigos, stamped randomly on the top layer using SU Real Red ink. Once that was dry I used SU’s Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder to give the layer some texture.
The saying is from SU’s Yippee Skipee set, which is one of those sets I’ve had for ages and still keep pulling off the shelf. Some stamps get so much more use than others.
What are your go-to stamps?
